Re: Flat Audio - Motorola
Even in Flat audio mode, the TX side begins to hard rolloff at about 2600 hz. At 3000 you're down 3db and it drops quickly from there. No external filters are needed. It's flat from 20-2600. Andy WJ9J

Re: Sinclair 2037 multicouplers with 220 kHz spacing
Yes, reduce the notch depth of the 144.61 c2037. ?If you do want to tx on the 144.39, then you will need at least 2 Q cans on the 144.39 equipment side and 3 Q cans on the 144.61 to notch out each

Re: Flat Audio - Motorola
The "FLAT/EIA" setting is a Radio Wide Configuration feature. Each channel has provisions for bandwidth and deviation, but nothing for De-emphasis/pre-emphasis. Jim

Re: Flat Audio - Motorola
Here is some info from my notes: You have to set each channel to flat audio (I cannot confirm this at the moment) Make sure you set in accessories TX Flat to Pre limiter for best response. Good luck.

Re: Flat Audio - Motorola
IIRC, there are a few boxes you have to correctly set the audio. I ran into the same issue first time I did an R1225. Andy (TARRA) via groups.io <tarra@...> wrote:
