There are now over 300 members to the Repeater-builder list. I am not bragging, I am grateful.
Kevin I want to take a moment and thank you. I am glad that you had the foresight to start a list that welcomed HTML postings. It is refreshing that someone is in tune with modern technology.
Modern technology has nothing to do with posting an HTML image. You see, not all of the people out there on this or any other reflector are capable of receiving an HTML image. For whatever reason, economics maybe? 14.4 connection? When I choose to post something, I myself would rather leave the choice up to the recipient to have the option to view it rather than shove it down their throat. Post a URL. Never tried it I'll bet. The other obvious reason is not to bog down the reflector with an HTML or other image that many people may not be able to see or even want to see. I guess I am a little more considerate of others than some folks tend to be.
I started this list exactly 2 months ago and things have really expanded. I am seeing very good posts to the list, and I appreciate that. I try to take enough time to completely explain a situation so there is little room for misinterpretation, many others are doing the same.
Again it is refreshing to see not just an answer but an explanation. Keep up the good work. 73 -- Richard D. Reese WA8DBW
