I believe it¡¯s JU404. The jumper is in place. When I removed it I lost TX. Encoder board was in.

  • There is 1 jumper on the control board, but once removed it will not tx.

?

You mentioned a jumper on the ¡°control board¡±, not sure which board you mean.? The jumper that needs to be removed for proper keying is on the exciter board.? The jumper that may need to be added is also on the exciter board.? There are no jumpers that need to be added or removed on the PL encoder board.

?

One other thing that has made its way through a lot of dead brain cells ¨C there were two versions of the Micor PL encoder board, with the biggest difference being the alignment/spacing of the pin sockets.? Here¡¯s a pic of the two boards, confirm you¡¯re using the right one for the exciter you have.

?

Also included is a pic of the Micor ¡°flat audio¡± board that took the place of the PL encoder.? The flat audio board was used in Micor PURC paging stations and DVP stations if I remember right.? It happened to be in the box of Micor PL decks, figured some Micor fans may not have seen one before¡
