I don't have any resources for those boards. Good luck on that. I would recommend the SLR 5700 if a person had to buy a new one, I've had that for almost a year working flawlessly. I have a back up one of the same model, SLR 5700, in the box.

I inherited an XPR8300, ham range, and I'm attempting to restore it. The TX board sustained apparent high heat with a scorched board and several SM components lifted from the traces.?

It is apparent that both the receiver and transmitter boards are simply repackaged mobile units. Where can I find a used/working TX board?

I don't have SM board-level soldering equipment to repair it and I'm not sure a board level repair would even be possible.?

I have the full maintenance manual and could trace it out, but not sure what it would take to repair it.?

I could not find a source for a TX board replacement and could not find the model of the mobile board used in this application.?

Motorola did a lousy job convincing a mobile board to pretend to be a high-duty cycle device.

Constructive criticism/assistance is welcomed.?
