Colorado Springs is laying off a 238 people. From what I can tell they are laying off 2000 company wide and closing the Arizona plant earlier then planned.

Microchip is closing their Tempe, AZ, manufacturing plant in May.
Don't know if that is their only plant, but this may effect your
PIC and AVR projects in the future.
