Hi Brady,
We have both and only grab the KX2 for POTA, it is smaller, lighter and can have an internal ATU.? This is the deal breaker for the 705, it is a rare outing where an ATU was not needed for POTA.
The 705 has all the bells and whistles and makes a nice shack rig with an amp.
