William,
Now that is funny.? I'm referring to the attachment of the Z80 system from
Digital Research of Texas in Garland.? I worked with Jim Tanner (Tanner Electronics
in Carrollton TX)? where I bought all my stuff
while living in Dallas and Bill Gates (B.G. Micro).? I wrote a memory diagnostic
routine for several systems and published in Dr Dobbs.? Small world.
I know a bunch of QRPers that used to shop at Tanner Electronics and probably
still do.? I bookmarked the page and will later run through the stock.

Chuck,
You are correct of course. I cross-circuited memories from my old CP/M days. Had a huge pile of Micro Cornucopia and All of the the KayPro Profiles mags. (Anyone know Jeff Duntemann, K7JPD? He was the editor.)
When I left off of programming my KayPro 2X (Darth Vader's lunch box), I was working on CW reader software in C.
Those were great times.
