End of macOS support
QLog has long been released for Linux, Windows, and macOS. However, I am currently only able to support Linux and Windows. macOS support for QLog was initially added by volunteers, but unfortunately, there is no active developer community for macOS anymore. As a result, several issues have been registered that I am unable to solve without external help, including: - A black online map - Inability to switch to macOS 14 - binaries must be signed and other issues - Various strange behaviors I regret to inform you I will have to discontinue support for this platform. The plan is that no new release will be released for this platform - no DMG packages will be released. However, I still plan to keep code review active so that it will still be compilable under MacOS. Thank you for your understanding. Regards Ladislav

QSO ID and Alert beep
2
Hi to all, As I am looking for an alternative to cqrlog, I am currently testing Qlog and it looks quite promising. Two questions. After importing the adif file, the newest QSO in the log receives QSO# (or QSO ID) = 1 and oldest QSO gets the highest QSO#. Logically and practically, shouldn't it be the other way around - QSO ID = 1 for oldest QSO in the log? IMHO, yes. Alert beep doesn't seem to work on either Windows or Linux. Or I'm doing something wrong...

Import duplicate error
I'm still considering switching from another logger to Qlog, but I have this "error": - I delete the entire qlog log and when I import the new log via adif file, it asks me if I want to import the duplicate record ... (all the records), but I deleted all the old records from qlog. It would also be interesting to have the function of only updating log records; as it would avoid me having to import all the records every time (records updated by sending QSL, receiving QSL etc. etc.) 73 Roberto IU2NUB

Spot Last QSO feature
7
Anyone having problems using the 'Spot Last QSO' feature. I must confess I've never tried it before now, but it doesn't seem to be working for me in Windows version 0.35.2. Maybe I'm not using it correctly? -- 73'd de Dave, G8FXM

where is the right place to report issues?
3
Hello, Where is the right place to report issues? I did a pull and build from Github today. QLog 0.35.1, HamLib 4.5.5 on Fedora 40. I am trying to set up my rig, I set it to use network and enter a DNS name (that does resolve) and after I save that data and return to the rig dialog, the rig is set to serial. There are some other oddities around the rig setup. After pressing "save" the rig profile name disappears (there was data in there, press save or modify, the data disappears), the host name similarly disappears. If I click on the profile name (left column) then those fields appear again. Thanks, 73, Jeff n1kdo

Satellite Support for QO-100 Crossband
13
I have been using the QO-100 satellite with the Adalm Pluto and the SDR console for some time now. Using virtual serial ports, I have now managed to transfer the frequency to the logbook software via CAT. Unfortunately, I can't log this way because I'm transmitting on 13 cm and not on 10 GHz. I could now use an (activatable) crossband satellite operation function that converts from 3cm to 13cm using a defined, adjustable factor. This frequency is then logged. Perhaps where the radio is configured? Does this function exist in Qlog? If not - is this something that could be implemented? 73 Peter DL4ZAQ

Multiple log books for different call signs

Hi I have two call signs, one is day-to-day use and the other is for national special occassions. I have set up two profiles/ stations. I've tried switching the station as indicated in the clip below but the log book does not change. How do I switch between two log books? Cheers Adam VK4IM

PSTrotator Set Up
3
Hi Has anyone figured out how to get PstRotator to talk to QLog and vice versa? I've enabled the rotor control direct from QLog (Yaesu G-1000 & Hamlib) but am struggling to get it to recognize PstRotator. There are some features I'd like to take advantage if possible. Cheers Adam VK4IM

LotW login error
5
Thank you for making this impressive software available. I would be very grateful if anyone could help me with the following error. When I try to upload or download to LotW, I get the error ¡°LoTW update failed: Incorrect Loging [sic] or password¡±. However, the login info is correct (works fine on the ARRL website, the tqsl app, and CQRLOG). I¡¯m using the latest QLog 0.35.0 from the PPA, Ubuntu 24.04, and the real version that is packaged with 24.04. I was having the same issue with prior versions and hoped that upgrading would fix it, but it doesn¡¯t seem to have done so. I¡¯m not sure if this helps, but I also had trouble with tqsl from CQRLOG until I removed the quotation marks from my QTH in the string sent to the command line. Then it seemed to work fine. Thank you so much in advance, Robert KB3CAX

Importing QSOs into Qlog & LOTW
7
Good morning When you enter a QSO in Qlog LOTW is defaulted to "queued" so that the QSO is automatically uploaded when you do your next LOTW upload. However I have discovered that when you import QSOs into Qlog, in my case from my contest logger, the default setting for LOTW is "no" and so those QSOs don't automatically get uploaded to LOTW. Therefore and unless I am missing something, you have to manually change each QSO to "queued" before you do your upload. Is there a way to either choose/highlight all the imported QSOs and make a bulk change from "no" to "queued" or perhaps be prompted to do so when you import the QSOs? 73 Mark ZL3AB

Quick Reminder: Poll Closing Soon!
Hello, Just dropping a quick note to remind you that QLog's poll regarding the addition of a new widget to QLog is wrapping up soon. Poll Details: Topic: Should QLog include a widget to display QRZ/HamQTH profile images based on entered callsigns? Poll link is Github #335 Polling is happening exclusively on GitHub. While you can share your comments via email, they won't count towards the final poll results because I can't track who has already participated in the poll on GitHub. Regards Ladislav

Two callsigns sharing statistics

Hi, In case an op gets a new callsign, is there any document explaining how to have both logbooks and consider them both for cluster alerts, awards and statistics? Thanks, Juanma - EA3IFV
