K1 Garratt
Here are some pictures of my K1 0-4-0 + 0-4-0 Garratt modelled (fictitiously) as it appeared on the Pentewan Railway (rebuilt 1′ 11?” in 1923) in Cornwall in the late 1950s, prior to rescue and eventual restoration by the WHR.
The model was built from a Backwoods Miniatures kit with various modifications which included DCC with sound (2 x CT elektronik decoders), lights, coal bunker, full cab detail and rebuilt motion with memory wire operated valve gear. There are also some photos of the model under construction.
