You have drawn a 20hp Simplex, Roy’s was one of the the rare higher powered ones with the taller motor cover. I do have a 20hp Simplex which uses an erstwhile Wrightlines body (white metal and useful for the weight) with a home-chassis. The latter utilises a Mashima 916 motor mounted upright under the motor cover and driving through a two-stage worm/gear drive giving a 1:196 reduction and thus prototypical slow running. Thanks to some clever pegging the loco can run with or without its cab.
