I had heard rumours of this and it is very disappointing as they were advertised as the first ready to run 7mm scale 14mm gauge locomotives. ?I have an order placed for one, surely UK retailers could advise how many orders have been placed.
Is this an opportunity for someone enterprising to offer a conversion kit and/or fitting service - I for one would definitely be interested.

For background I did I trial conversion for Richard of the standard wheels he supplied with 14mm axles and although the back-to-back was correct the flanges were quite fat so the wheels came out over gauge. Hence the need for special wheels with finer flanges.
I don't know if this decision can be changed with a firm commitment of numbers.
