Re: TDR Python Script
Salil, could you please check your script, I tested it with different cable sequences and script doesn't works at all. It just shows random figures. For example here is RG316 followed by RG6U followed

Re: Battery Charging Question
But they do have some models without batteries. You can see a small foil bag inside the unit usually just below the Right front corner beneath the "NanoVNA stamp" if you have one. It there is a

I don't understand your response. The vna does not power up when the USB applied voltage is removed. Mike N2MS

Re: nanoVNA Real Resistance Measurement Range
I do not know what the copyright rules are on this as I have downloaded the pdf. So in theory, I can place it in a file but I suspect that is a NO-NO. The registration process and all that stuff

Re: Yet another NanoVNA PC app
Hello Erik, I have exactly the same Problem and it Looks Like the nanovna itself crashes in some way. I can activate the Touchkeys but the graphs are not refreshed any more. Greetz Ton - PA0ARR

Re: Battery Charging Question
It works in such way. You're needs to wait about minute or two, then it stops to flashing (if battery is already charged). On my NanoVNA led is still on for about 30 seconds after power off.

Battery Charging Question
I just received a nanaVNA from Amazon. I tried to charge the battery and see the battery LED flashing but it doesn't seem to take a change. Could it be faulty, do I have to installa jumper or switch

Thanks Erik, Thanks for the great work! But I am having a problem. I use the serial com port for NanoVNA and select NanoVNA as device in settings. At first, it doesn't like the serial com port and

Re: NanoVNA S21 20dB dynamic range increase
You are correct, the headroom is about 20dB when running in overtone, that is why I chose the 20dB amplifier, but only when you remove (or reducing with at least 15 dB) the fundamental, and that is

Re: NanoVNA S21 20dB dynamic range increase
Hardware has to deal with full stimulus energy; DSP sorts overtones

Re: NanoVNA S21 20dB dynamic range increase
The headroom should be more than 5dB on the SA612 when running in overtone mode. If I remember correctly the the third overtone is about -15dBC on a Si5351 so I would expect at least this headroom +

Hi Norbert, From my first glance at your test results, your comparison look very good! Loads with resistance and reactance are difficult to measure. I was pleased to see the relative agreement

Hi David Sure we have has some discussion ? and also some very good one. I wrote 1GHz because that is the nanoVNA environment. I have measured to 8GHz on a 4 channel R&S VNA with auto calibrator

David, I'm trying to understand all this, and you are obvious an expert so I have a dummy question. I added a simulation tool to my VNA software that uses a electrical model to calculate the input
