Re: edy555 release 0.7.0-20200223 #firmware

Well, remember this is all open-source but since all the various firmware versions are freely available, there is really no reason to perform a dump from your device.

Larry,

Thank you. I thought that it was not possible to dump the current
firmware. Most micro manufacturers do not allow it as a security means
to avoid copying the FW that is inside.

Thanks a lot.

? The original user guide that I maintain in the forum's files section has ALL the info you will need on where to find the firmware on github.
Read up on how to use the DeFuSe utilities and you will learn how to dump your current FW.
Look on github under edy555 for the FW

? Hi,

Thank you, but my question was about where to find my current version
(0.4.5-1-gfrbbceca), I suppose it is not possible to extract it from the
micro.

? ? Recently I received a nanoVNA H. It has firmware version
0.4.5-1-gfrbbceca. Build Time: Dc 26 2019 - 19:32:31.

It works ok so far, but I want to know where I can find this firmware in
order to have a B/U copy.? I want to install the recently edy555 release
0.7.0-20200223 and while I suppose that it will work without problems,
it is a good thing to have a B/U of the current firmware.

TIA,
