Another problem with the chinese sellers is that sometimes the language barrier is just too much for them and they just say "yes-yes" to everything without really understanding the question and just hoping to close the sale. I would assume that a lot of the negative feeback they get is because of broken buyer expectations due to this attitude. Not saying that is the case here, but I certainly have come across the situation quite often and usually stay away if the answer is just too ambiguous.
In any case no further replies received to my follow request to post pictures showing the PCB version number, so now we know why. Then again maybe the seller did not even understand what I was asking them for. Yes-yes...
