Personally I think the Youloop is a good example of marketing hype over substance, where a 'special' feature is publicised in order to make a product stand out from the rest of the crowd.
Of course it doesn't actually need to work in order to achieve this goal, but most folks (myself included) do have a tendency to believe products claimed benefits, unless it's easy to prove otherwise.
I've compared the Moebius loop against other types, and I've concluded that it doesn't seem to offer any advantages over a more conventional single loop, but that's just my observation and your mileage may vary.
