Re: FT8 Ops in Unix
Hi Adrian,
Can you provide specifics about what hamlib does not support. Maybe Mike can add these if they are not already in there.

Re: W1HKJ - url is redirected?
That's repeatable. Going to the https version of the site takes one to the
sundial URL. I also receive dire warnings about the SSL certificate from
Firefox.

Re: FT8 Ops in Unix
GridTrracker will run natively on Linux. There is a Linux client for it already.
It runs great.
Same for Fldigi and it's family of apps. There are Linux versions.

If you plan to stay with HRD, then why not just stay with Windows?? Setting up a Linux machine and then running your ham station in a VM on the Linux machine is not overly complicated, but, it is

Not familiar with Grid Tracker. But Fldigi and WSJT-X run well on most
versions of Linux. It would be simpler to install those natively on a

I am very happy with CQRlog on my Mint 21.3 machine. Do a search on the CQRlog forum keyword "mariaDB" for instructions on a successful install. It requires mariaDB, not MYSQL.
