I updated from Fldigi version 4.1.27 to version 4.2.06, and winkeyer connected just fine on 4.1.27.? I updated to 4.2.06 and Fldigi now crashes as soon as I hit the connect button, no error message

The commend 'id' will list your user id number, the groups you belong to, and other se_linux stuff. You will need to belong to "dialout" as you state, and as I recall the command is 'groupmod -U
