Yep, so the multiple entries of Fldigi must be different functions
of Fldigi that's running and not just multi instances.
So when I first start my Fldigi the CPU is around 21.1% and yours is
8.2. I haven't tracked mine for any length of time but when it locks
up it's 100% and I have seen it go way over 100%.
So now I have to figure out why it does that. I hate to mention it
but it runs fine on Windows 11 but I do want to use Linux :-(

Sorry, Yes I should have shown htop

It seems to show subcomponents or seperate core usage.
cpu usage seems good.

Thanks Adrian,
Maybe I'm getting TOP and HTOP mixed up. Your right I only see 1
instance of Fldigi with top but HTOP shows multiple instances.
I thought HTOP was the newer better version but maybe I'm not
reading the results correctly and I should only use TOP to check
the program's resources.
