Look for QSSTV on Github.? (Just googling it found it for me.)
Install all the needed dependencies (copy paste the example command line incantation.? If anything already exists, it'll either get updated or left alone.)
Then follow the build instructions.
Job done.? (Other than adding it to the launch menu, but that's simple.)
On first launch, after getting it to see your radio/soundcard combo, let it calibrate itself to that audio device's sample rate.
After that, it "just works".
It's author is generally reachable too.
All the above just done in about 20 mins on LMDE 6 just fine.
The distro's own repo' version was some way behind, but also worked well enough when I tried it before building the later github version.
Rigcontrol is via Hamlib.? I point that at FlRig of course.
