Re: flrig on bookworm strange switching antenna behaviour Yaesu FTdx 3000

John GW0WZL,

please see reply in message /g/linuxham/message/53331. Adding to that, I recall Dave, W1HKJ, noting that on the start-up of flrig the VFOs are somehow explored. If the VFOs are set to use different antennas that might account for what you are seeing. A quick skim of the FT-3000 manual shows no information on how, or if, antenna selection might be memorised. One can program in extra functions, noted towards the back of the flrig manual, which could allow a specific antenna to be selected. That would require configuration by yourself.

I have installed flrig 2.0.05 on a pi4 running bookworm, it behaves strangely when opening and closing it down. I have tried all combinations on the restore tab. It switches the antenna inputs on all or some bands each time I open or close it, it also switches the tuner on or off randomly. There are 3 antenna inputs on the 3000 and in flrig there is no tab to switch them nor no mention of the antennas in the reload tab.
Any help/advice please
