Re: Running HRD on Linux Mint

That's what I'm doing now. I'm installing a VM on POP OS and setting it up for Win 10. If this don't work I'll have to stick with my windows laptop specifically for logging with N3FJP.

It's been years since I tried to use WINE for anything and had lots of trouble with it.? There is a front end for WINE called PlayOnLinux.? It presents a graphical environment and I found it helpful in installing a few programs.? I have not tried to use it in some time and can't be sure it? would be helpful to you.? I too try to run native linux programs for amateur radio and when I must use a Windows program, and that is rare, I turn to a VM.?

Good luck and 73,

Hi everyone. I'm trying to install HRD on Linux Mint 21.3 xfce. I'm following the instructions I found in the files section. I'm at the point where I downloaded ACLOGINST.exe. When I right click on the icon it does not give me the option of selecting "Wine Windows Program Loader".? I can't go any further. What version of Mint do I need to make this work? VE9ZZ
