Re: Running HRD on Linux Mint

Thanks Glenn, I may have to resort to using a VM. I did have it working a few years ago with?N3FJP software, but since then something happened and now I can't get it to work again. I desperately want to dump Windows but I really want to keep using N3FJP software and HRD.? I can install Fldigi no problem and WSJTX I have no use for. Anyway thanks again and 73 VE9ZZ

For Mint, I use the , , , and for my Amateur Radio installation (and I fire everything up at once, from a shell script).? Make sure you have LOTW installed.

Ideally, HRD will have a port to Linux (that was their stated intention), but don¡¯t count on it.

Glenn¡¯s rule ¨C run apps that run on Linux, MacOS, and Windows (all but CQRlog fit that objective regarding Mint / Ubuntu).

Subject: [linuxham] Running HRD on Linux Mint

Hi everyone. I'm trying to install HRD on Linux Mint 21.3 xfce. I'm following the instructions I found in the files section. I'm at the point where I downloaded ACLOGINST.exe. When I right click on the icon it does not give me the option of selecting "Wine Windows Program Loader".? I can't go any further. What version of Mint do I need to make this work? VE9ZZ
