Welcome to Linux.

Personally, I use Kubuntu and have tried a few others.? Most of the time, with the more heavily used ham radio programs, like WSJTX and FLDIGI,? I usually don't rely on the repository packages.? Often, they are older, not up to date.? The newest versions are available from the respective websites, so I go there, download what I want, and it runs.?

Best of luck with whatever distro you choose.? And, if you don't like your initial choice, there are plenty of others to try until you find the one that fits your needs.?
