Dave,

Can you post a screen shot of the full fldigi window?

An experiment is to go to your home directory and just for testing rename the .fldigi directory to something else and restart fldigi. Do just a basic setup and see how the decoding works. If ok then possibly there is corruption in a config file or weak signals. Check audio level for sound card.

If ok then rename the new .fldigi and "unrename" old one. In the original .fldigi directory rename the fldigi_def.xml file and restart. Again do basic setup and see if decoding works. If yes then you had corruption and just continue setting up fldigi.

I'm not able to get to post a screen shot of my problem. ?As above in the topic, my IC-7300 is now receiving nothing but garbled characters when in various modes (Qlivia, PSK31, and other data modes.
Antenna, set up properly, USB voice receives OK, CW received OK. ?Just FlDigi shows garble characters. ?Using Linux Mint, FlDigi and FlRig all latest versions. ?Everything else on workstation works fine.
Any advice on settings for IC-7300 which may cause this? ?Used to work fine now in last few weeks, problems.
Thank you,Dave es 73
