Hi, I have had an LDG AT 1000Proii for a while now
and it has always worked fine for me, if I don't look at the SRW LED indicators.
As the Power marks it correctly, the SWR is always marking 3 and over.
it's the same if the antenna is tuned and the device is in Bypass, as if I adjusted it, which it does correctly.?
I have meters on the radio, on the amp and a Bird on the antenna output. they all mark the identical swr, except the LDG which marks infinite or very high.
What is the solution??

I've looked at how the meter behaves under an dummy load, and it certainly doesn't show any swr.
I've looked at it several bands, and as it should, it always says nothing.
This is correct then.?
I also downloaded the PDF you told me and noticed that the adjustments are fine.?
but I still have the same problem. The swr meter indicates a lot of swr when there is none.?
It does it for me with the 3 antennas I have, and on any band.?
It does it for me whether I'm in Bypass or adjusting an antenna.
All I have to do is change the length of some cable if something changes.
In case it helps, I feed the dipole antennas with an rf shock made with several turns of wire on a 15CM PVC tube. While the skyloop antenna for 40 and 80m is powered by a 4-1 balun. I don't see it having any RF return, and in fact I can work at full power on either band.?

I will continue to investigate. But I've ruled it out as a coupler fault.

Hello, I made a video of the problem, so that it is better understood.
First I tuned the coupler and then, in FM I put carrier, you will see that only the first LED of the tuner's SWR meter lights up.
The linear amplifier also indicates that there is very little SWR.
Then I switched to USB, and when doing tx and talking you will see how only the LDG marks SWR, the other meters continue to mark the correct SWR. At the end of the video you can see the analog meter that is between the linear output and the coupler, and that also marks well.
I don't understand why with fixed power it marks perfectly, but in SSB it goes crazy. It doesn't happen, as you can see. with the power meter.

My AT-600 Pro II acts the same way.? I have learned to trust the SWR bridge in my K3 and the SWR LED strip in my KPA500.? I simply assume that it is poor design, assembly, or calibration by LDG.

Hi, I sent a message to LDG customer service and spoke with Mark.

After verifying the problem, they sent me a different firmware, and now the AT1000 pro2 is working correctly.

I'd like to thank the people at LDG for their diligence, and obviously, the next antenna tuner will undoubtedly be another LDG.

The pity is that those of us who live outside the US are now having problems with shipping due to excessive zeal, and even free shipping is being charged customs and duties.
