Z-11Pro II updated manual?
kaptain_zero VE4FU
I've had my Z-11Pro II for quite some time now, however.... I have been unable to find an updated manual for the new firmware. The manual in the files section as well as the one included with my tuner is the old one. The LED displays are not the same and while I try to read between the lines, I'm never sure I actually know what settings I have selected. Does anyone have an updated manual?
I sent an email to LDG but it was never replied to. And going back in time, I do recall exchanging emails with them and they confirmed it's new firmware and that the LED indicator patterns had changed but at the time, they had not updated the manual. |

I have a Z11 Pro II that I bought retail in the last year, that shipped with a Rev-A manual.? Do you think I should be referencing a Rev-C manual?? How does one know what firmware is on their Z11?
Cheers,
Scott

What version of the manual do you currently have, Rev-A, Rev-B or Rev-C or another? I can provide you any of those.

I have had two Z11 Pro-II and the photographs of the PCBA shows the processor IC with a while label that indicates the Date, Model, and Version number (this was for the latest unit purchased from retail this year). For example, my current Z11-Pro-II label indicates 24/06/21 on the first line and Z-11Prollv1.2 on the second line. I would think this was a program date of June 24, 2021 and firmware Version 1.2.
An older version of my Z11 Pro-II has a label that only reads:? ZProII10?that I would interpret as Firmware for the Z Pro-II Version 1.0. Of course you are free to interpret the way you feel is correct.? As far as the manual versions, you could take different versions of the manual (A, B, C) and find the differences in the operation and then compare to yours to confirm which version appears most correct. 73, Gene, K5PA |

Pretty sure it does.? Gene sent me all three document revisions; I'm going to put together a quick summary of what is different in each, then I could upload all of them.

Yesterday i got my first z-11pro2 and i was totally confused about the functions and LED signaling .. . Today got a replacement but same behavior.
Seems the rev B manual which comes with the tuner is completely outdated ? Any news for an updated revision ? Would appreciate a copy to my qrz.com email very much ( or a link for download ) :-) Thanks in advance. -Peter |
I tired of paging back and forth through the manual to find things. That's not a criticism of the manual. I just didn't want to keep flipping pages all the time. So I created a one-page quick reference for myself. My sense was that the LED behavior did not match what was in the manual I received so I did my best to document the actual behavior. Anyway, I've attached it in case anyone finds it helpful.

Anybody care to produce one for the AT-100Pro2? I agree that having to

flip through the pages of the manual is not the easiest way and the settings are far from obvious. 73 Dave G3YMC On 27/02/2024 20:49, Alan (WD5FCA) wrote:

开云体育I don't know what manual is currently shipping with new Z-11ProII units, but the website version of Revision B is accurate as far as I can tell.? All functions in my Z11 duplicate what is stated in the manual.73, Kent K9ZTV On 2/22/2024 12:56 PM, peter@...
