Re: RC-600 Bias-T short circuit protection ?
Another option would be to put an external? bias Tee in front of the antenna switch connected backwards to pull the DC off of the cable and feed it directly to the power circuits of the RT-600

Re: AT-600 ProII dropping tunes
I found the problem.? It was heat related, but it wasn't in the tuner.? The cable feeding the balun was foam core RG-8X.? When I changed from the RT-100 to the AT-600, I just stood the AT-600 on

Re: Interface cable for FT-847 and AT 200 Pro II tuner
Thank you for your concern. But I¡¯d guess after 20+ years of service doing stuff like that and more with no damage, I¡¯m Vy73 - Mike - KD5KC. El Paso, Texas - DM61rt. SOTA W5T-Texas Association

Please run your data through http://hintlink.com/power_density.php I have a 3.8 dBi 2 meter antenna and at 10w they called for 2.34' in a controlled environment. Your soft tissues might thank you

Re: Interface cable for FT-847 and AT 200 Pro II tuner
I actually use this data-cable on the FT-857D for remote tuning. The tuner is mounted behind the battery. In the lower-left photo, the upper-right corner, the red push-button is the tuner start

Re: Interface cable for FT-847 and AT 200 Pro II tuner
I made an incorrect assumption that the Y-ACC cable plugged into the key jack on the FT-847. The FT-847 cannot interface with the AT-200ProII tuner. See my later reply.

Re: Interface cable for FT-847 and AT 200 Pro II tuner
The FT-847 does not have an ACC jack, and the necessary TX-REQ signal is not on any other connector pin; so there is no way to interface the FT-847 to the LDG AT-200ProII. Unlike the FT847, the

Re: Interface cable for FT-847 and AT 200 Pro II tuner
Yaesu made the discontinued FC-20 tuner to interface with the 8 pin mini-DIN TUNER jack on the FT-847. The FC- seried tuners used the TXD(4) and RXD(5) serial data pins to command tuning operation.

Interface cable for FT-847 and AT 200 Pro II tuner
HI, everyone, Does anyone know what cable I would need to connect between the FT-847 and the AT-200 Pro II auto tuner? I know there used to be a tuner that was specifically designed for the FT-847 but

Re: RC-600 Bias-T short circuit protection ?
Alpha Delta lightning arrestors units pass DC. Have been using one for years w RC-600 without issue. It is between thr ¡° Bias-T¡± box and the Tuner box. Outside near antenna. Not all arrestors can

After killing rig power, I would recommend opening the LDG tuner enclosure to look for hot toroidal coils just after you have a tuning mismatch event... My experience... I see the same thing on my

Re: RC-600 Bias-T short circuit protection ?
Hi Paul, You can check at files section the RT100 circuit unit (that I assume is the same as the RT600) for remote and the RT600 for tuner unit. The RF input is isolated from the DC then I understand

RC-600 Bias-T short circuit protection ?

Re: Cable for FTDX10 + Z11-Pro 2
It¡¯s all about point of control. The TX REQ signal leaves the tuner in control; the tuner simply asks the rig to initiate a tuning cycle, and then releases the line when it¡¯s done so the rig can
