If they are not available where you want to buy them, your remaining options are wait until they are in stock, do without, build your own or where ever you found the scalper prices - try to make a deal. ?

Re: AT100 not work

Thanks for the reply. Where is the fuse? I can't find it in the schematic. Yes, there are 13 volts on the regulator input.; moreover, touching the strip that connects the LED card with the motherboard, all the LEDs light up randomly...maybe the EPROM has been erased???

Re: AT100 not work

is there a fuse inside the tuner, maybe you missed??? ?did you check the 7805 with a voltage check?? do you have the 13 volts on the primary side of the regulator, or is it lower

I made my y-acc-3.? ?Use a db15 male connector and a 3.5 mm speaker plug.? tip goes the pin 11 and ground goes to pin 3.?

Re: RT 100 schematic

Folks,
years ago, when I bought the RT100 I prepared a Bias-T as per the Rev.
C of the manual, where the power was applied continuously to the
tuner.
While reviewing the schematics (v 1.2) posted on the new Zip file on
the Files section, I see the power is applied only by request, using a
pushbutton.
Should I update my Bias-T box? Is there any negative impact on the tuner?

Opps!! Miss read the manual . . . sorry. But still won't pay 4x's the price for them.

Re: RC/RT-600 Memory Tune Oddity

Edited

But wait, there's more.....
On power up, the RT-600 will not tune upon application of RF power, nor will it retain the last good tune.? The SWR is always high right after powering up.? It is as if it always powers up in bypass, and I have to initiate a full tune cycle.? After I do the full tune it operates as expected.? I am receiving 12 volts from my Icom PS-125.

Hello,

I'm back with some additional questions about EXPECTED behavior vs ACTUAL behavior. I built the cable I shared the schematics for a few weeks ago. I thought it was working properly, but I'm starting to question myself and whether or not the cable I built is working as it should be.

My friend just bought an AT200ProII tuner. We were reading through the documentation, which covers using a cable between the tuner and the radio for Icom and Yaesu radios.

We both have FT-DX10 transceivers - the only difference is he's running the AT200ProII, and I'm running a Z11ProII.?

Whenever we pressed the Tuner button on the front of the DX10, we thought it initiated a tuning cycle on the LDG. I just moved the tuner away from the DX10 and tried using the Tuner button, and I can clearly hear the tuner relays inside the DX10 running.

And yes - we both have the External tuner option selected in the DX10 menu - and the radios have been restarted (multiple times).

The documentation states:

"A tuning cycle on the AT-100ProII is initiated from either the Tune button on the front of the AT-100ProII, an over-SWR condition when in fully automatic tuning mode, or from pressing the TUNER/CALL button on the front of an ICOM radio connected using the ICOM interface cable."

"If you are using the ICOM or Yaesu interface cable, your radio will automatically reduce power, switch to CW mode, and transmit for as long as is needed to complete the tuning cycle, and then will return to the previous operating mode and power level when done.?"

If I am interpreting this correctly, it's implying that using the Tuner button on an Icom radio will initiate a tuning cycle on the LDG tuner but pushing the tuner button on a Yaesu radio will not initiate a tuning cycle on the LDG.

That being said, the benefit of using the cable between a Yaesu radio and an LDG tuner is that you don't need to reduce power or change to AM/CW mode. I'm unsure how to confirm if this is happening, though.

Please help.

Thank you,
