Happy Thanksgiving 2019

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving.??

And please note below and share our family site far and wide (I think I captured all names from the family history that Aunt Lonie researched and drafted):

Whether your last name is Snow, Aby, Miles, Tullo, McDevitt, DiDavide, Ely, Woolward, Blittersdorf, Miller, Stapley, Huber, Brown, Pappas, Hynes, Hackette, Deppen, Pratola, Bruni, Zeisloft, Baily, Coutts, Sunshine, Buel, DiProspero, Andriole, Pannell, Ferrara, Stier, or Ruggieri, you share common ancestors:??Domenico Ruggieri and Rosina Rochetti. (See the wiki at the bottom of the left hand navigation for more history...a work in progress where many hands would make light work).

Sally's update on the Millie family history gave me an idea. This new group has a wiki function and I've started to convert the family history doc into the wiki?/g/lafamigliaruggieri/wiki/home

I'm thinking that we can make this a place where we capture stories and help us stay as connected as we can in this hectic world. I think building out our own family wikipedia is a better approach than just uploading files.?

And maybe we could use this to answer questions that doctors ask like when they ask about your family's medical history of X? Maybe we could have a page where family members can share some history to help out someone down the road in the next generation or 2. Trying to make this group useful but I also understand need for privacy. Let me what you think!?

I know there are other ideas...like which of our family members served in the military and saved the world single handedly. lol Did you know that Uncle Arch went to the Naval Academy and was recognized as an All American Soccer player in 1950? And that my Dad (Mimi, Jerry, Domenic) said he won the Battle of the Buldge and his main goal was to take a piss in the Rhine river. He got about 30 yards from it before a German sniper shot him in both legs. Our family has served and we should honor that.

If you have a moment, take a look at the work in progress. Also, let me know if you have questions on how to use this wiki to add and/or edit something.

Love Cousin Randy and happy thanksgiving
