The Road Concerts is looking for site-specific works in unexpected public spaces along the Rim of the World Highway (Crestline to Running Springs) for its eighth road concert, happening the weekend of July 26¨C27, 2025. Since its inception, the Road Concerts has featured work from over 300 artists and locals across seven events in Los Angeles. A ¡°road concert¡± showcases a range of works, including installations, interactive pieces, performances, happenings, roving artworks, car art, readings, music, dance, temporary sculpture, and downloadable art. Stretching through the San Bernardino National Forest, past tourist attractions, historic landmarks, and suburban neighborhoods, the Rim of the World Highway will become both a stage and a public square¡ªinviting interconnection and dialogue. Most recently, MoMA received awards from the Alzheimer¡¯s Association, the American Association of Museums, Museums and the Web, Ashoka¡¯s Zero Project for social impact and scalability, and the Hearing Loss Association of America. Francesca is a founding member of the Museum, Arts, and Culture Access Consortium (MAC). She is a former Board member of Studio in a School and DOROT and serves on the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center advisory council. Francesca has contributed to countless scholarly publications and co-authored Meet Me: Making Art Accessible to People with Dementia and Making Art Accessible to Blind and Visually Impaired Individuals.
