The Music Center's 2025 Arts Integration Symposium: Amplifying Joy and Healing through the Arts?will feature professional development sessions for TK-12 educators led by expert teaching artists in dance, music, theatre, visual and media
arts. Held at The Music Center in Downtown Los Angeles, the symposium will guide educators in developing arts-based skills and strategies to integrate into their teaching practice that foster joy and healing, while cultivating artistic creativity. The symposium
will offer workshops focused on social emotional learning, well-being, equity, identity, culturally responsive teaching and more. All workshops will focus on arts integration and align with the California Arts Standards and California Content Standards.
This year’s symposium will feature work by two national partners from Pittsburgh, PA: Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh.?The Music Center teaching artists and guest presenters will provide educators with a range of arts integration
techniques that can be implemented in the classroom setting.?
Early Bird Rate: $150/person (through May 31)

In this 2-week-workshop students will illustrate their own fashion line with 3 unique looks that share a unifying color or pattern. Students will have the opportunity to apply mixed media elements using fabric and paper samples to their 2D model.?
The ideal candidate will have a foundational knowledge of illustration as well as fashion design. Teaching artists are expected to create theme-based projects that ignite the creativity and storytelling skills of their students! Candidates should also have an interest and a passion for working with under-resourced and underserved youth. As well as, knowledge or interest in developing their ability to engage with students from a trauma-informed and culturally competent lens. Finally, candidates will have a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives, and experiences, and will create a welcoming environment for all students.?
Venice Arts provides templates, examples and 1:1 support to help each teacher craft a fun and exciting workshop. Venice Arts requires all teaching artists to attend paid training and allow for classroom observations, and feedback. The Road Concerts is looking for site-specific works in unexpected public spaces along the Rim of the World Highway (Crestline to Running Springs) for its eighth road concert, happening the weekend of July 26–27, 2025. Since its inception, the Road Concerts has featured work from over 300 artists and locals across seven events in Los Angeles. A “road concert” showcases a range of works, including installations, interactive pieces, performances, happenings, roving artworks, car art, readings, music, dance, temporary sculpture, and downloadable art. Stretching through the San Bernardino National Forest, past tourist attractions, historic landmarks, and suburban neighborhoods, the Rim of the World Highway will become both a stage and a public square—inviting interconnection and dialogue. Description: The Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival (LAWTF) is seeking an Office and Production Manager. This position would work closely with the Executive Producer in day-to-day event planning and administrative duties in a number of ways in addition to interfacing closely with the event Production Team.
Duties may include email correspondence, performer/event production duties, digital file management, some grant writing, and coordinating and managing team meetings.
Qualifications: LAWTF seeks an organized, driven, self-starter with leadership qualities who has a passion for LAWTF’s mission. Applicants must possess strong computer, verbal, and written skills. Understanding of Google Suites and Microsoft Office is necessary. Applicants must be able to work both independently and with a team. Previous office experience and grant writing experience is highly desirable. Creative problem-solving skills, ability to multitask, and ability to work under pressure.
This is an entry level position. 15-20 hours a week. Pay is negotiable.

We are happy to announce that the first round of positions for the 2025 Arts Internship Program are now available on our website! Students may visit to apply. These internships are for 400 hours of work at $17.87 an hour.
Below are some of the program features your interested students can take advantage of:
- ·? ?New Internships will be posted on a rolling basis: Interns should check our website at the beginning of each month starting on April 1, 2025 as new positions are posted monthly.
- ·? ?Extended internship window: Interns will be able to work from June 1, 2025 through March 1, 2026.
- ·? ?More flexible work parameters: grantee organizations may elect to have interns work as few as 15 hours a week, and interns may be able to work remotely for a portion of their hours.
Opportunities to connect! Interns will not be working in isolation and will be able to attend monthly virtual and in-person events to meet leaders in the field of arts and culture, network with one another, experience arts and culture and more.
If you are in contact with interested students, please let them know to visit our website for the first group of available positions. Students will apply directly to the host organizations via the information found on our website. Positions will be posted on our website starting April 1, 2025 and will continue to be posted on a rolling basis at the beginning of each month through July 2025.

We recently announced (via a press release and local media) that the application portal is open for the first legacy initiative of the Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee.??
?
In partnership with the Play Equity Fund, the Selection Committee will select 26 local nonprofits that are using the game of soccer to empower and uplift their communities.? Only 501(c)(3)
public charities or government entities (not individuals) based in Los Angeles County are eligible to receive the grant. These organizations must be using soccer to bring communities together, address physical, social, and emotional health challenges, or support
the region’s rebuilding efforts by using the game to create connections, joy, and recovery. ??
?
Each selected organization will receive a $26,000 grant award,?a?professionally produced marketing video showcasing their organization, and?public recognition of their work in the lead
up to FIFA World Cup 26. ??
?
The portal to apply is now open and will close
April 23, 2025.?? The selection committee will meet in May to choose the 26 organizations, and we will announce the winners at the June 11, 2026 “One Year Out Celebration”.?
