Re: Location of the Imperial Propane Gas Magnet

This is a curious response, Chester.? I share a factual, lived experience of just two hours ago, independently witnessed by two people with supporting evidence; and I¡¯m accused of spreading unfounded ¡°rumors.¡±?

Below is the Oxford Dictionary definition of a ¡°rumor,¡± as I think you might find it beneficial. ?

Whether you believe my report is true or not is your choice and not my affair.? But I will not be entertaining any more rude, salacious commentary on the incident I just factually experienced. ?

Have a good day,

Summary of gas cheating facts and respobse to the suggestion about my ¡°stealing¡± customers from Imperial

Good afternoon and thank you for your input, Gretel.? Obviously, I¡¯m not ¡°stealing¡± any customers and neither is Sonigas.? I am simply reporting the absolute facts of an unfortunate incident that includes the physical evidence of a magnet that was under my gauge and witnessed by my assistant just a few hours ago today. ?

I don¡¯t spread in rumors, and I am the aggrieved party here.? It¡¯s my right to share my factual experience and supporting evidence for the benefit of my neighbors and friends, who are free to make their own judgments and decisions.? It¡¯s Imperial¡¯s responsibility to investigate and be accountable for the sake of their business.

Again, I do not know the Imperial truck number; and do nor know the driver¡¯s name; but I have used Imperial since moving to Labradores.? I have provided a written complaint to Imperial already. ?

Of course, I exercise my absolute right to receive propane delivery services from any company I prefer.? I leave it to Imperial to do an investigation; and institute better monitoring of its drivers; it¡¯s not my role.? I have done my civic duty by sharing my factual experience with my community.

Dearest neighbors, thanks for all the feedback.? I am writing here to reshare details I¡¯ve already provided.? See my summary below, including another photo of the magnet. I regret that I just can¡¯t get to every individual inquiry to reanswer questions again.? With love and best wishes.? Jackie

1.? Magnet location: ?under my gas tank gauge (see another copy of the magnet photo below)

2.? Imperial gas truck number: ?I don¡¯t know.? It¡¯s the one always here at Labradores.?

3.? Imperial driver name: ?I don¡¯t know, as I don¡¯t interact with him directly.

4.? Alternative gas company: ?I previously shared that I have chosen Sonigas and provided the contact information (Oscar Castillo at?415-101-2069)?if you want to use them too. ?

But it¡¯s your choice.? I have no financial interest, relationship, or knowledge of Sonigas beyond a recommendation provided by a neighbor.? Use whichever propane company you prefer for whatever reason.

Re: Mold problems???

Hi Erika, regarding the boveda and possibly the cupola- Gabriel identified a moisture problem in the boveda of my home. On the inside, there appeared a large square of bricks that had a slightly difference appearance from the rest - a whiteishness.?

Treatment:
Inside: This white stuff(!) was rigorously brushed off then a substance was painted on.
Outside: Following a good clean, a protective waterproofing substance was painted on.

The following is one of many articles about household mold:?

Hi, Labradores Friends.? I¡¯ve had multiple, serious black mold problems at my newly constructed house due to:

1) an improperly constructed foundation (no water vapor or sealant that damaged my master bedroom and bathroom; and?

2) an unsealed roof terrace floor that allowed leakage of rain and any other water runoff into my guest bathroom ceiling below. ?

Because black mold is such a serious health hazard, I had no time to waste in getting it addressed properly. ?

I hired a very able licensed, Mexican architect, who works with an engineer as needed, to remove the mold and address causal structural problems.? It involved digging up 1/3 of my foundation and waterproofing it, as well as sealing my roof terraza floors.?

The contractor¡¯s name is Abraham Del Rio and he¡¯s on WhatsApp at?+52 415 115 8636.? Erika, you already know him, and the work he did to fix my mold problems.

All situations differ.? While my one-year-old+ home¡¯s severe mold problems have been independently verified as caused by construction issues, in older homes the passage of time and natural elements could be the causes. Of course, the price of any repair service would be dependent on the cause and extent of your home¡¯s mold problem.? Just call your preferred contractor for a price quote, although I strongly recommend an objective, licensed independent professional to ensure it is done correctly, as mold can be a serious health hazard, not just a home maintenance issue.

On a related note, until last week I had a hard time finding a physician administering the m
test considered the gold standard diagnostic in the US to determine mold exposure.? But Dr. Nick Ransome, a naturopathic physician and Laurie Ransome¡¯a son by the way, has the mycotoxin test.? If you think you may have been exposed to black mold in your home and want the test, his assistant, Lucy, can be reached at?

Hi, Labradores Friends.? I¡¯ve had multiple, serious black mold problems at my newly constructed house due to:

Re: Mold problems???

I have noted the same situation in the cupola of the main bathroom and wondered what to do about it.? It seems to get worse in the cold weather when the condensation causes more moisture in that area.? So I don't have any answers but am interested to hear the experience of others.??

Thanks,?

Mold problems???

Hello dear neighbors,
I live in the villas, have several cupolas, but there is mold only in the master bathroom and closet. This is the bathroom that I use exclusively.
I have lived in the house for 14 years, have noticed some mold in the closet and treated it with Clorox, but the cupola is too high, and moisture cannot escape.
Before I call a contractor, I would like to know if others have this problem and what they have done (added ventilation in the cupola? Resealed the cupola, etc.). If a contractor was hired, could you share contact info, and also let me know how satisfied you were with the work and how much I can expect to pay? Feedback to my email would be appreciated.

Many thanks,
Erika Blakely

Hola queridos vecinos,

Gracias!
