I have had my LA-1K and HF-AUTO for about a year now. Overall they work very well, however I have a continuing problem trying to get any digital mode to work without having the amp turn off because of SWR Bypass. Calls and emails with Palstar have not helped, they keep telling me it is my antenna. Unfortunately I only have the 1 and it is a multi-band long wire. I find it strange how I have had zero troubles in SSB mode, even at 900 watts, but it can't handle 100 watts of digital (5W input). If you want to do a lot of the digital stuff I would recommend caution, but for SSB it is pretty bullet proof.
