I read your note concerning the LA1K with interest since I have a LA1k that I am not using.? I have several Alpha Delta surge suppressor units in the coax between my HEX beam antenna and the amp.? I have never had a problem with the AD units and they have been in service for ten years or so.? I too liked the ICE units and am sorry that they are no longer available.
I have been thinking about selling my LA1K but never have gotten past this point.? My unit is like new condition with only SSB phone use.? I wonder if you would tell me what I should ask for my used LA1K.? Thank you.??

Bot ate mounted to a copper plate and also grounded with "6 wire to 8 ft ground rods. I was wondering if anyone had any experience using these arrestors where a SS amp might have issue passing a signal threw them cause the have a choke system inside that bleeds some of the static to ground and therefore just maybe that would create an issue with SS finals.
I live in Florida and these arrestors have been working fine with an Acom 1000 for three years, I used the Alpha Delta ones before but they seemed to have issues with the weather down here with varying SWR at times but once I installed the Morgan systems jobs no issues. They are very similar to the Array Solution jobs and the original design was taken from the I.C.E company that is no longer. Any input would be great, TNX.
