A few months back, I encountered overshoot problems while operating the LA-1K amplifier, driving it with an IC-7300 transceiver with 40 watts in SSB. Upon further investigation, I learned that the IC-7300 is notorious for its overshoot issues. I decided to purchase an FTDX-10 transceiver, and I'm happy to report that I no longer experience any bypass or overshoot problems with the LA-1K amplifier. The amplifier is functioning precisely as advertised, and I am thoroughly satisfied with its performance. And I'm also very happy with FTDX-DX as well.
