Yes, those are the parts needed. Follow the wiring chart. And, yes those wires in the cable are ultra-thin gauge. I found the best way to strip the insulation is just to use your fingernails to strip them... yep they're that fragile. The connector has screw terminals... but, I had trouble using them and wanted a more dependable connection. So, I soldered the wires to the pads on the underside of the board instead. It's kind of tedious, but doable with patience and some clamps to hold things while you solder. Picture attached. Good luck. Mine set up is working FB!
