UPDATE: I assembled and installed the cable from the FTDX10 to the LA-1K and all seems well. The cable wires are extremely small and fragile and I just didn't trust the screw-down connectors to hold them firmly. So I soldered the wires to the underside of the pc board. The photo shows the underside of the pc board and how I secured the assembly with a nylon strap.

Yes, I can confirm the?DB-10MY cable is out-of-stock nearly everywhere. The alternative suggestion is the best?way to proceed without having that hard to get cable. I've ordered the components (CSU-28 cable and the 9-pin connector) which I hope to receive soon. I put together a wiring guide to help me make the correct connections. If you see something wrong, let me know. Hopefully?it may prove useful to others with the same connection conundrum.?

K9TRX: So glad you made your own cable.... once you have the parts then it is rather simple. Enjoy your rig and the AMP. It is a great amp. I also have the RFKIT RF2K-S ?amp as well.? Have fun and enjoy your FTDX10 now that you have some extra "Grunt". Higher power does require that all the little details are perfect in the transmit stream. 73 Art W1SWL
