Problemsending data from schematic to PCB

开云体育

I have drawn a schematic and corrected all the errors. When I switch to PCB, the footprints appear but no designations and other text for them. I cannot find any setting that would make the designations visible or not. Please advise.

Virus-free.

* Double-click a footprint in the PCB editor and make sure 'Show' is
ticked in the relevant field checkboxes.

* Depending upon which board layers you have set to Visible, you may or
may not see certain text items. Check, for example, whether Fab and
Silkscreen layers are 'Off'.

Thank you. I will check that.

I agree that this just sounds like the layers are switched off

usually on the right hand side of the window there is a panel with some
tabs Layers Objects Nets

Select layers and make sure there is an eye symbol and not a stop symbol.

It's quite common to turn off the silkscreen and other layers as they can
cause a lot of mess on screen when you are trying to lay out a board.

Yes, that was the problem, but the designations need to show in order to put the components in their places.
