* Double-click a footprint in the PCB editor and make sure 'Show' is 
ticked in the relevant field checkboxes.

* Depending upon which board layers you have set to Visible, you may or 
may not see certain text items. Check, for example, whether Fab and 
Silkscreen layers are 'Off'.

I have drawn a schematic and corrected all the errors. When I switch to 
PCB, the footprints appear but no designations and other text for them.
