All,
Since the topic has been opened, I've had a lot of problems changing the stock libraries on V6. I made my own library and add parts to it regularly, but if I delete a part from a library or, God forbid, an entire library I get a slew of errors when I open the program. How does one delete parts or a library with the program's "permission" so it doesn't error?

It depends what operating system you have. I couldn't find a release of Kicad 6 that would run on 32 bit Linux, nor 32 bit windows, so a first prerequisite seems to be a 64 bit OS which makes it harder when using an older PC or laptop.

Hi,
The list could use some activity and I'm not sure there is a dumb question.? I've yet to switch to 6.0 so anything I read helps.? I really need to switch tho.? I just have put projects on the back burner for a while.? Still, I'd like to read whatever problems you run into.? May save me some grief later on.?
