Power flag problem
开云体育I have a schematic that does not have a power
source, it comes from a connector. I have labelled the power
wires +VDC #PWR01 and -VDC #PWR02, but Electrical Rules Check
gives the 'Input power pin not driven ...' error message for
both. How can I fix this? --

Re: DB15 connector symbol
开云体育Indeed. For some reason, they all got to be
called 'DB', perhaps because the 25-contact size shell was so
widely used. And before the high-density range was introduced,
the pin-count and shell-size were 1-to -1 matched. On 2024-05-17 21:28, Donald H Locker

Re: DB15 connector symbol
开云体育Oops; I actually lied. The SHELL size is indicated by the character after the D; turns out that there are multiple pin densities that can be fitted to each shell size. Donald. On 2024-05-17 16:26, Donald H Locker

Re: DB15 connector symbol
开云体育D-submini connectors use the character after the "D" to indicate pin count:

they are all in the connector library under D-Sub

DB15 connector symbol
开云体育Is there anywhere a symbol for the DB15
15-contact connector? I know that I could make one, but its
geometry is not simple. --

Re: Import Spice schematic
开云体育Thanks very much, Andy. That icon is called
'Edit symbol fields' in version 8.0.2, which is a correct name
but misleading. It is in fact a BOM, formatted the way I
proposed in my bleat about the official one. On 2024-05-13 21:18, Andy Eskelson

Re: Import Spice schematic
开云体育Hey, the dots have suddenly appeared. But
also, some spurious short wires have appeared, coming from dots
and going nowhere. The imported symbols are smaller than the
native KiCad symbols and the capacitors don't have thick plates. On 2024-05-12 21:40, John Woodgate
