Re: Semaphore Icon size
Hi Howard,
Let's Zoom again and I will explain how I do junction brackets. The icons you are using were submitted to JMRI by me.

Anyone know where Paul Bender is nowadays? He wrote the current RaspberryPiAdapter, etc. and it would be great if he was available and willing to do this rewrite to Pi4J 2.8.
I took a look and quickly

Re: Simplest way to communicate between an Arduino and JMRI for this scenario
Have you looked at Little Wicket Railway's videos on using CMRI?
He talks really fast, but does give a complete tutorial on connecting an Arduino to JMRI.
One thing that helps is the transcript

Re: Tower +Q and STL Editor and a "Invalid Event ID Format"
Ralph,
The event names are stored in the "idtags" directory in the user files location.
if you rename the "PanelProIdTags.xml" file, that removes the event names from all of the events. The STL

Re: Tower +Q and STL Editor and a "Invalid Event ID Format"
Bob,
Yes I did a couple of things that automatically created event names. Created an input in the STL editor using event #'s. When I stored the changes back into the node and then looked at the logic

Re: BLI E1A Unresponsive
The same on this engine, but it's having no effect. It shouldn't affect the ability to move the engine, just the sounds.

Re: WiThrottle won't work

Hi Bob,
I suggest setting the exception for the port number instead of the file name, which will change with each update. The port is 12090 unless you've changed the default. And don't forget you're

Re: BLI E1A Unresponsive
I'm not sure with Paragon 4, but my Paragon 2 Niagra if you double tap FF9 you shut down the loco. You will then need to double tap FF6 to restart.

Re: Which version's should I use
Ian,
The JRE is fine for just running JMRI. My system is also used for
development of JMRI so I have the JDK so I can build code. For the
most part, the real difference is the size of the

Re: Tower +Q and STL Editor and a "Invalid Event ID Format"
There are a couple of people working on a fix. Can¡¯t say for certain, but it seems likely that it¡¯ll take a few days at least.
Depends a bit on exactly how you did it and what you changed.

Hi Chris,
An alternative is to shrink the icon files and use custom icons.

Re: Which version's should I use
Definitely the msi download. The JDK is only required for Java programming. The JRE is appropriate for most people.

BTW I'm totally new to Arduino (the boards have just arrived at the PO).
At this stage I'm looking for the simplest interface given the limited scope of what is required.
