My automation path has been using warrants but I'm now looking at integrating dispatcher given the development and improvement of that offering.
With warrants it looks at the entry of a train into a

I got the switch to show output on and output off but where does the extended accessory decoder set originate from? I didn't understand that and nothing changed on the signals.

I had a feeling this might be the case (" this is what I'd describe as a "classic mistake" - wrong editor/panel type.").
Your point is well noted however I'm trying to keep things as simple

Don,
Both types of panel displays show the same basic table entries (turnouts, sensors, signals, etc.) in graphic form on a "panel" window. Because both types of display rely on the same underlying

So, Nigel, how do two different based panels operate together to control
and display one layout? Are they automatically linked somehow? Won't there
be conflicts?

This is not to me specifically just consist, but exposing CV values in the roster display.
I can see a need to see more than just CV19, such as CV3/4, maybe CV29, 105,106, and possibly more.

Here's an example of what a successful build should look like. Notice under "Function" the build becomes "Print" or "Preview" depending on the function checkbox at the bottom of the Trains window.

Here's an example of a true "Build Failure" in the Trains window for train "BLX".? Notice under status that the train has failed to build.

That only happens if the status for the train is "Build Failed".? Do not use the term build failed unless the program states build failed.
