Graham, Update to problem 1: I think I misinterpreted the parsing error. I assumed the error was in the log file. Is it possible that the error occured while you processed a XML File Validation? Klaus

Hi Graham, On problem 1. Your VSDecoderPreferences.xml looks ok. But the Error doesn't match with that VSDecoderPreferences.xml, because it has no schema reference like <vsdecoder-preferences
