Harold, AIU readback isn't supported in the PowerCab/SB3/SB5/Twin series of systems. There wasn't enough room in the memory for it to hold that information. Only the PowerPro command station (CS02)

You can't with Soundtraxx decoders prior to the Tsunami 2 and Econami.? In the earlier decoders, there is not any CV to uniquely identify which exact model and sound set it is. Soundtraxx ID info:
