Weird. I wish we could look over your shoulder, because I can think of no
reason for what you're seeing. I have the sneaking suspicion that you are
doing something we're not thinking of which we'd

Hello again and thank you for your help, that is very nice of you all. Changing CV29 to value 34 and clicking write changes to page/write changes to all pages did not yield anything new. I tried it on

The only decoders with that many functions that I am aware of are ESU and
Marklin. Seeing there was a recent thread about using 63 functions with a
Lenz controller I assume they have a decoder

detected resistors (assuming all resistors are the same value). When a
third resistor enters the detection area the

Forgot to add. WiThrottle is currently quitting at f28. Personally I only need up to f31 though, not the full works (yet) - this is the highest I see in my LokSound 5s….

Well, it goes from f0 to f31, so that’s 32 functions.
Let me dig around a bit

As Wouter pointed out, this topic has strayed way past anything to do with JMRI. Further discussion on wiring, resister wheelsets, etc need to be taken elsewhere.

John,
I did a test with your logic and it works.
Are there any message in the JMRI system console?
Does the NX work properly when clicking on the NX sensors? Maybe you have a conflicting route

Slight correction on resistance:
Special case, when all resistors are equal. Otherwise, use the formula for
parallel resistors (R1xR2)/(R1+R2) reiteratively::

Thanks, but I have one of those, I'd like one that has more than 32. This thread led me to believe they existed, maybe they don't (yet).

Ohhhh. I misread your question
I’ll send you a roster entry later. From a LokSound 5 that goes at least as far as f31. Would that help?

I'm not sure where any of the code is as far as getting to production. That's why I'm asking for an example, so I can test.
And thanks go to Brett Hoffman for the JMRI changes.

John,
A2 is toggling the state of the NX. Since it is active based on the if, the new state will be inactive.
The Return statements are not needed, return is automatic.
