JMRI supports a lot of different hardware https://www.jmri.org/help/en/html/hardware/index.shtml Most of the common systems will program most decoders. Do you have a DCC command station at present

Some advice I was given was jumpers 3&4 on baud rate 19200. Start NCE Powercab, start computer, plug in usb and then start panel pro. It did work for me.

Terry, A lot of this depends on the hardware being used, if feedback is being used, and how you set it up in the panel. We'd need a number of details and seeing the panel file would be the best way.
