Dan, Make sure that you have not created a "None" connection. Also, verify that Preferences >> Defaults are correct after correcting the Connection information. Dave Sand

Let us know if that works. If it does, perhaps your previous exception was tied to the program, which you replaced when updating. The new program was not (yet) listed as an exception.

Conrad, The most common issue is that your firewall is blocking the incoming connection from the client. Turn off all firewalls and try again. If it works, then add an exception and turn it back on.
