Stephen, Most users I've worked with are only adding one piece of hardware at a time and testing it. That is a strongly recommended practice. They then move the usernames to the new hardware system

Thanks Rummy. Probably it means I should try the 64-bit upgrade to the PR3; Digitrax says it only applies to Windows but i bet it's the issue. A little hesitant, since the PR3 works fine at the moment

That does seem strange. I am not at all an expert but I simply copy them onto my USB and take it into the house. I have done this many times with no problem.
