Looks like I found the problem! In train build options, "allow cars to travel from origin to terminal" was checked. By unchecking that the switch list gave me orders to swap an empty for a loaded

Hello Paul, JMRI Operations adds 4 feet to the length of each car to account for the couplers.? Make sure the spur length is long enough to hold both cars.? Hope this helps. Cheers, Dennis Drury

What you want to do requires the location/spur to allow 4 moves. The act of dropping a car is a move the act of picking up a car is one move so it takes 2 moves to drop and pick up a car 2 cars = 4

This sounds like the printer has a problem printing close to the ends of the page. This is common with older laser printers where the printer cannot control the ends of the sheet to maintain contact
